Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana, established in 2005, has emerged as a leading institution in veterinary and animal sciences. Beginning with College of Veterinary Science, Ludhiana, the University has bloomed to take in its ambit six constituent colleges including a polytechnic institution,alongside two affiliated colleges developing human resource to serve the livestock sector. Having excellence in academic, research and extension endeavours, the university emphasizes on the overall development of students to well-equip the students to tackle real-world challenges. The state-of-the-art facilities and an experienced faculty-many of whom have been trained internationally-create a conducive learning environment. The focus on quality education is reflected in the achievement of its alumni, occupying prominent positions globally.
