Veterinary Microbiology
- The Department of Veterinary Microbiology was set up in 2020 i.e. one year after the establishment of College of Veterinary Science in Rampura Phul, Bathinda. This department mainly focuses on teaching, research and extension activities in the discipline of Veterinary Microbiology. Currently, this department offers various courses of Veterinary Microbiology for B.V.Sc. and A.H. degree programme. The department has well established laboratories for carrying out undergraduate teaching as well as research in Veterinary Microbiology. This department also extends its laboratory facilities and diagnostic services to other departments of the college, farmers and veterinarians.

- The research interest is mainly in epidemiological studies on pathogenic viruses and microbes of livestock, poultry and microbes of zoonotic important and the development of diagnostic and prophylactic measures for them.
