Veterinary Anatomy

The Department of Veterinary Anatomy focuses on teaching the comparative gross and microscopic anatomy of ox, horse, dog, pig and fowl. It offers a seven (4+3) credit hour course to the B.V.Sc. & A.H. students during the first professional year of the degree programme as per Minimum Standards of Veterinary Education (MSVE-2016) regulations. This department provides a high standard of teaching, and student's knowledge is regularly updated with the latest scientific interventions by the young and dynamic teaching faculty. Additionally, the department engages in both basic and applied research on gross anatomy, histology, histochemistry, histoenzymology, and the ultrastructure of various organs and systems in domestic and wild animals and birds.
