Veterinary Gynaecology & Obstetrics

 The Department of Veterinary Gynaecology & Obstetrics was established in the year 2022. The department mainly focusses on Teaching, Clinical services, Research and Extension activities. The department has well equipped reproductive biology lab, phantom hall, Palpation room, Museum and smart class room with modern multimedia facilities for teaching and demonstration to UG and Diploma Students. The clinical facilities of the department include large and small animal OPD, Operation theatres with modern equipment’s. The department provides regular ambulatory services at door step to adopted villages and Local Gaushala.

The departmental faculty is involved in teaching animal reproduction, gynaecology and obstetrics to undergraduate & Diploma students besides conducting research on reproductive problems faced by the livestock farmers. The faculty of the department is also handling various research projects as PI and CO-PI’s. Along with teaching, research and clinical services the faculty is also actively involved in organizing various training programmes for the unemployed youth, livestock farmers and paravet staff.

My specialization focuses on to evaluate color Doppler luteal profile and progesterone levels following AI and exogenous hormone administration in sub-fertile buffaloes
